Colmcille edge past Granard to make Longford semi-final

Colmcille booked their place in the Longford SFC semi-final withstanding a Granard comeback to win out 13 points to 12.

Barry McKeon’s free eight minutes from time moved Colmcille five points clear. However points from Darren Gallagher, James Kiernan and Charlie Martin dragged Granard into the game.

Gallagher attempted a long-range free close the conclusion of the match, but it didn’t have the distance falling short resulting in a Colmcille victory.

Colmcille will now Mostrim in the first Longford football semi-final of 2021 at 2pm on Sunday.
