All-Ireland semi-final draw made

Tyrone will face Kerry in this year’s All-Ireland semi-finals with Donegal meeting Meath.

The draw has been made for the All-Ireland Football Semi-Finals following a thrilling weekend of quarter-final action from Croke Park.

Tyrone defeated Dublin in what proved to be Dessie Farrell’s last game in charge of the Dubs. Donegal came back to beat Monaghan following a strong second-half display from Jim McGuinness’ side.

Meath got the better of Galway in a very tight affair in Sunday’s first quarter-final, while Kerry recorded 13 scores without response in the second-half to come back and defeat reigning champions Armagh.

It was impossible for Tyrone to draw Donegal in the semi-final after the two faced each other earlier in the campaign in Ballybofey, hence the two were placed in bowl 1 of the draw.

Meanwhile, Meath and Kerry were placed into bowl 2 for the same reasoning.

Tyrone have drawn Kerry in the first semi-final while Donegal have drawn Meath. The semi-finals will be played on the 12th and 13th of July.
