Goals from Dean Byrne and two from Adam Evans secured third place in the SSE Airtricity League first division for Longford as they saw off Cobh Ramblers 3-1.
Town will now face Cabinteely in the first round of the promotion play-off’s, importantly with home advantage in the second leg.
