Former Eurovision singer Brian Kennedy is backing Ireland's possible boycott of next year's competition.
Ireland won't be in the 2026 contest, if Israel is involved.
RTE announced the move on Thursday, saying it would be unconscionable to take part given the appalling loss of lives in Gaza.

Kennedy, who represented Ireland in the competition in 2006, gave Eoghan Murphy his reaction to this decision during a detailed interview on The Saturday Connection today.
