September is National Adult Literacy Month and the National Adult Literacy Agency has launched an information campaign called 'Take the First Step'.
To find out more, Monday's Joe Finnegan Show heard from Michael Duffy, an adult-literacy student at Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board, and Regina Clarke, an adult literary organiser in Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan.
