A man with strong connections in west Roscommon has become the managing director of one of the biggest care home providers in the UK, St Philip’s Care.
Dermot Kelly, who is 53, will oversee the running of 33 nursing homes, with than 1,200 staff.
Eoghan Murphy spoke to Dermot and first asked him about the background to his business career and whether he was always in the care-home industry.
