Recruitment has begun for some of the 110 jobs being created by the expansion of a Longford town bakery.

Panelto Foods employs 150 people at its 50,000-square-foot premises in the Ballinalee Road, and construction is well under way on a major expansion that will double the size of its plant.

The sandwich-bread company is now recruiting for several key management positions as part of the growth of its factory and workforce.

For Tuesday's Bottom Line, Eoghan Murphy visited the Panelto plant in Longford town and spoke to general manager Brian Guerin and asked him the background to the company.
