ISME's new Chair discusses growing up in Castlerea and the challenges facing small firms

The new Chair of ISME says parents should encourage the seeds of entrepreneurship they might see in their children.

Last month Margaret O'Rourke Doherty was named just the second-ever woman chair of ISME- which was a long way from her early days of organising buses for teenagers heading to discos.

Margaret was born in Dublin, raised in Castlerea and now lives with her family in Drumshanbo.
