Tributes continue to be paid to the writer, broadcaster and documentary maker Manchán Magan, who has died at the age of 55.
Born and raised in Dublin, Mr Magan moved to Westmeath in 1997, after purchasing a plot of land in Collinstown.
He was a passionate advocate for the Irish language and explored it in a variety of ways including books and documentaries.
In an interview last month, he confirmed he had terminal prostate cancer, that had spread to multiple organs.
Lecturer at the University of Galway and filmmaker, Aodh Ó Coileáin encountered the late Mr Magan on many occasions.
