Two local women have come together to create a unique support network for grieving parents- through the power of song.
The Butterfly Choir, founded by Dee McKenna and Lou Talbot Beirne, has been established to provide a gentle, creative outlet for mothers and fathers who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a baby through still birth or neonatal death.
The 'taster session' will take place on Saturday, 30th August at 1:30pm in the Roscommon Arts Centre.
With no prior singing experience required, Dee and Lou emphasise that the project is about connection and expression rather than performance:
