A popular local charity will host its annual Monster Auction this Sunday, August 3rd in south Roscommon.
The Lecarrow Benevolent Fund has raised over €700,000 for local causes since its inception in 2001.
The fund is managed by a committee who distribute the money confidentially to people and groups in the parish of St John's and beyond.

A number of interesting lots will be up for grabs this Sunday as preparations continue in Lecarrow.
Dan Dooner met with members of the commitee recently as well as local mother Lisa Dowd, who detailed how the charity has helped her.
He first started by asking Chairperson Billy Kelly about how the fund came about in Lecarrow.
