PODCAST: Ming on CAP, presidential race and Roscommon IPAS centre

Castlerea MEP Luke 'Ming' Flanagan says small farmers in the Shannonside region could lose funding under the new Common Agricultural Policy.

The European Commission has announced a 20 per cent drop in resources for the sector, as part of the €2 trillion budget for 2028 to 2034.

Farming groups have expressed concern over the plan, which will be finalised over the next two years.
