Six councillors in Roscommon will decide in the coming weeks whether to give the go-ahead for a new public realm plan for Ballaghaderreen.
It was changed after protests were held for several months.
A total of 15 car-parking spaces will remain on The Square and around 50 vehicles will be able to park in The Plots area, if the plans get the go-ahead.

He explained how the plans were on public display recently.
