The Portiuncula Maternity Alliance is seeking a meeting with the Health Minister, Jennifer O'Carroll MacNeill, over the downgrading of maternity services at Portiuncula University Hospital in Ballinasloe.
The decision to widen the definition of 'high-risk' pregnancies at the hospital was made in July.
Around 3,500 people protested against the decision in Ballinasloe last month.

As the Dáil resumes this week, the campaign is moving up a notch.
