The Roscommon Pride Festival starts this Friday with an evening of poetry and music by this year's Grand Marshall Jane Clarke. This year's Pride Parade will take place on Saturday from 2.30 pm from The Quad to Loughnaneane Park. There are a number of events planned throughout the weekend including Drag Bingo, and the parade after party on Saturday night.
This year's festival will conclude with a 'Wellness Day' at Loughnaneane Park on Sunday which includes a Family Fun Colour Run at 11 o'clock. Organiser Will Keane says this year's event will be even better than the first ever Roscommon Pride last year:
