The Chief Executive of Longford County Council says 2026 promises to be a busy year for the local authority. Paddy Mahon was speaking as ground is set to be broken on a number of projects this year. He says the county's strategic business plan has been set out for a five-year period. Connolly Barracks is set for a major overhaul while Ballymahon and Granard will see public realm and tourism enhancement works.
