The vaccination rollout for children aged between 5 and 11 has begun with the HSE saying parents have responded positively.
Tommy Stenson has been speaking to the senior medical officer for Leitrim and CHO 1, Dr. Cathriona Walsh.
He began by asking her why it's important for children to get vaccinated.
