A Longford woman has been appointed as the new chief executive of Tallaght University Hospital. Killoe native Barbara Keogh Dunne takes over the role following the resignation of Lucy Nugent. The hospital is one of the largest in the country and treats around one thousand two hundred patients every day.
Barbara Keogh Dunne has previously held senior roles at Beaumont Hospital and was General Manager of Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown. She she's looking forward to the challenge of leading one of Ireland's busiest hospitals:
