A series of fundraisers have taken place in south Roscommon in aid of a popular missionary priest. Lecarrow native, Fr Pat Brennan, has been working in Brazil for over 40 years and regularly visits his family home in Roscommon.
The local community have raised thousands of euro to help Fr Pat in his work in the Amazon region. Here he tells Dan Dooner about the challenges he faces in South America:
