A Palestinian woman living in Roscommon says members of her family remain in critical danger in Gaza. Sherin Al Sabbagh is an Irish citizen who works as a translator and tutor in Ballaghaderreen.
The Israeli military last week declared Gaza city a combat zone and says it's suspending humanitarian pauses there. Sherin's mother Najwa received safe passage to Ireland in April but her brother and his family remain there. Speaking to Dan Dooner, she said they are both very concerned for their family's welfare:
