People in County Leitrim are being encouraged to take part in a national frog survey. The 'Hop To It' survey has been carried out by the Irish Peatland Conservation Council since 1997. Leitrim County Council is now asking residents across the county to play their part in this citizen science initiative. The council says just a small number of recorded sightings have been submitted so far this year. Those interested in assisting with the survey are asked to send details of sightings to www.ipcc.ie or email [email protected].
