The countdown is on, and preparations are well underway for 'The Leitrim Gathering', a weekend of celebrations, taking place from May 23rd - 25th. An event for Leitrim people wherever they may be in the world, it will be a celebration of the unique qualities which make County Leitrim such a special place.
A packed programme of events is scheduled, including literary, cultural, heritage, music, and dance events across the county. Darragh O'Connor has been speaking to Fiona Slevin about what people can expect at events:
