Throughout COVID, some individuals are and have been experiencing extremely challenging personal issues. These can include domestic violence, alcohol, gambling, home schooling, mental health issues, drug dependency. These issues have been heightened due to the impact of COVID but can still remain silent from family members, circle of friends and wider local community as they may feel frightened, overwhelmed or embarrassed to seek help and support in overcoming their individual challenges. Local radio provides a platform where we can raise and highlight challenges along with available supports through the spoken word. “Dear Diary” is drama monologue dealing with some of these issues……..
