Longford County Council has granted planning permission for a development that’d create 100 jobs.
It has given Supermacs boss Pat McDonagh’s company Atlantic Enterprises the go-ahead to develop a service station, with a retail unit, food court and drive-through restaurant, in the Ballinalee Road, Longford town.
The decision has been made subject to 19 conditions.
