PODCAST: Shannonside businessman's fascinating success story

A new takeaway and restaurant, called Apache café, recently opened in Ballymahon in south Longford.

It’s the latest business established by Indian man Raj Singh, who also has outlets in Carrick-on-Shannon, Castlerea and Athlone.

He came to Ireland just over ten years ago and worked initially as a kitchen porter, before opening his first business and several more followed.

He spoke to Eoghan Murphy about his career, and first asked him how the new business in Ballymahon has gone since it opened in July.
