A well known local charity has praised 10 year old Ella Faughnan for her wildly successful fundraising campaign.
Ella who is from Bornacoola in Leitrim cut her hair in order to raise money for Cian's Kennells, with the hair also being donated to Repunsel, a group who make wigs for children going through cancer treatment.
Daniel Considine spoke to Ella and her mum Eileen about what made them take the chop:
