Carrick-on-Shannon’s Carole Coleman is leaving RTE at the end of next month, after decades with the station.
She’s best known for her challenging interview with George W Bush in 2004, as Washington correspondent.
Now, she’s taking up a job teaching journalism at the University of Galway and will also be a freelance journalist.
