Hundreds of people gathered in Boyle this morning for the start of the Irish Hot Air Ballooning Championships.
The event finally got under way in Lough Key Forest Park, after three flights were cancelled over the weekend because of high winds.
Around 20 balloons took to the sky this morning, including participants from the US and the UK.
