Over 200 people attended an event last night to mark the 35th anniversary of the closure of the Arigna mines.
They were a major employer in north Roscommon for hundreds of years before they closed in 1990.-
Several miners recalled their careers at an event in Kilronan Castle in Ballyfarnon last night.
