Leitrim has the highest number of vacant homes in Ireland - at nearly 12 per cent.
Roscommon has the third highest, at over 10 per cent, while Longford has the sixth highest, at over 7 per cent.
The latest GeoDirectory Residential Buildings Report shows the national residential vacancy rate has fallen to a record low of 3.7 per cent.
There are refurbishment grants available from the government - but they're capped at €70,000.
