The youngest Irish-born priest in the Diocese of Elphin has passed away. Fr. Donal Morris who was the Parish Priest of Kilbegnet and Glinsk, died yesterday morning.
He grew up in Ballinaheglish, in the parish of Oran in Co. Roscommon where his parents Kathleen and Eamonn still live. Bishop of Elphin, Kevin Doran has been paying tribute, saying that they will certainly not forget him anytime soon and offered his condolences to Fr Donal's family.
