Young Longford Apprentice makes semi finals of Ireland and UK competition

Dan O'Shea from Fort Hill, will now compete against 32 other apprentices from Ireland and the UK, who are currently completing apprenticeships across various construction trades.

A young apprentice from Co. Longford has made the semi finals of this years Screwfix Trade Apprentice competition. Dan O'Shea from Fort Hill, will now compete against 32 other apprentices from Ireland and the UK, who are currently completing apprenticeships across various construction trades.

10 semi-finalists will be selected to compete for the title of Screwfix Trade Apprentice 2025 at the two-day final of the competition in May and will win a prize bundle worth €10,000. Dan, who is studying to become a qualified electrician at GRETB, says he's crossing his fingers that he makes it to London for the final:
