Workers can now refuse to answer calls or e-mails outside working hours

There's been more debate recently about disadvantages of working from home and creating a "divide" between work and home life

People now have the right not to have to work outside of normal hours, under new rules signed by the Tánaiste.

A new code of practice takes effect today, giving people the right to disconnect from work.

They can refuse to answer calls or emails outside of working hours, and can complain to the WRC if the rule is broken.
