A Co. Westmeath artist who wrote this year's Irish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest says she is in the process of writing more songs for the competition.
Larissa Tormey co-wrote the song 'Laika Party' for Norwegian singer Emmy, who represented Ireland during Semi-Final 2 of the contest on Thursday.
While Emmy did not garner enough points to make it to the final, Larissa says the experience has become a "dream come true."
Larissa has been living in Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath for over two decades and is a classically trained vocalist.
She says the media attention she received has been unexpected, and is grateful for the local support.
The Grand Final is taking place in Basel, Switzerland, tonight at 8pm.
