Road conditions in the Shannonside region are dangerous this morning.
It comes as Storm Éowyn wreaked havoc on the country yesterday.
Roscommon County Council are advising all motorists and the public at large to proceed with extreme caution this morning following overnight frost and snow.

Their crews are continuing to assess to damage caused by the storm and they are continuing to deal with issues as they arise.
Meanwhile, Roscommon councillor Sean Moylan is urging people to be careful.
