Employers are being warned to be aware of the dangers associated with alcohol-based hand sanitiser.
Dublin Fire Brigade has advised people to only store a week's supply of replacement containers as it is a flammable liquid.
Bulk storage of sanitiser should be kept in a fire-resistant room, and dispensers should not be placed above a floor which has carpet.

As businesses return to work, people are also being discouraged from using door wedges to limit contact points, as it allows a fire to spread.
