Vita House Family Services in Co. Roscommon have received close to €100,000 worth of funding. The Department of Social Protection announced funding last week for 8 national and local projects under an initiative to support and improve the employment opportunities for Family Carers.
Just over €99,000 was allocated to Vita House for the Roscommon Young Carers Project which aims to support 80 young individuals who provide care for family member. The project aims to empower carers by providing essential support and fostering personal development.
