The public is being warned about a COVID-19 outbreak in Sligo Hospital
In a statement, the Saolta Hospital group says the outbreak affects Medical Ward 7 and Medical Ward North
Visiting restrictions are in place in these wards however other wards remain unaffected.

The hospital is advising patients with symptoms such as a sore throat, cough, temperature or shortness of breath to not visit the hospital to protect vulnerable patients.
