Latisha McCrudden is a member of the local travelling community and studies Law at the University of Galway.

Investigations found that girls and non-binary teens are more likely than boys to self-harm, and experience poorer mental health outcomes.

They were amongst 62 students from across five Irish universities who have been awarded scholarships as part of the women in STEM2D Undergraduate Awards.
