Uisce Éireann has confirmed this afternoon that crews have repaired two bursts in Roscommon. The bursts on a water main in Cloonfad had caused significant supply issues to customers in Cloonfad and Granlahan. Repairs were completed in the past hour and supply levels are currently returning to normal.
Uisce Éireann says alternative water supplies will remain in place at St Patrick's Church, Cloonfad and Cloonfad soccer pitch until 4 o'clock today. Customers are reminded to use their own containers when taking water from the tanker and to boil water before consumption.
