Two Roscommon buildings have been announced on the first list of properties to be redeveloped, under a 'community hub' scheme.
The funding, under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme, will see former Garda stations in Tarmonbarry and Ballintubber reconverted.
7.5 million euro has been set aside by the Minister for Community Development Heather Humphries to develop the 36 vacant buildings.
