Two people were arrested in Longford Town today following a public order incident at a well known service station. Gardaí were called to Gala Filling Station on the Dublin Road just after 9.30 this morning following reports of a disturbance. A man and a woman, both aged in their 40s, were arrested and appeared before today's sitting of Longford District Court.
In a separate incident local Gardaí and members of the armed support unit attended at premises in Ardnacassa Avenue this morning. According to Gardaí, they are now investigating an incident of criminal damage related to that call out. Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
