Truck run raises almost €11,000 for refurbishment of local church

The 50-year-old died after a tyre exploded when he was working in a shed in Sheepwalk, Frenchpark, a year ago.

A truck run in memory of Pat McCrann raised almost €11,000 for the Frenchpark Church Refurbishment Fund in Co Roscommon.
The 50-year-old died after a tyre exploded when he was working in a shed in Sheepwalk, Frenchpark, a year ago.

Over 150 trucks took part in the truck run on Sunday, which went from Sheepwalk to Strokestown.
Councillor Sean Moylan took part and was delighted with the amount of money raised:
