585 Patients Waiting on Hospital Trolleys Nationwide as Pressure Mounts on Emergency Departments

585 patients are waiting on trolleys in the country's hospitals.

396 are waiting in Emergency Departments , while 189 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

University Hospital Limerick has the highest number of people waiting at 66.

That's followed by Cork University Hospital at 59.

Sligo University Hospital is again the third highest in the country with 30 admitted patients on trolleys.

Meanwhile Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar and Portiuncula Hospital have just 13 patients waiting on beds between them.
