Tributes have been paid to a popular Strokestown man following his sudden death yesterday. Anthony Bosquette will be laid to rest on Thursday following funeral mass at Strokestown Parish Church. He was well-known in agricultural circles and a regular at shows across the country. Mr Bosquette is survived by his sisters, brothers, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Eugene Murphy said he was a 'absolute genius when it came to livestock'. The former TD said he would be sorely missed in Strokestown and further afield:
