Tesco pleads guilty to breach of consumer protection law

Tesco was ordered to cover legal fees and donate 1000 euro to charity.

Tesco has pleaded guilty to breach of consumer protection law.
The supermarket chain accepted guilt over two sample counts of failing to comply with the law in how they displayed the price of products offered at a promotional price to Clubcard holders.

It arose due to an investigation launched by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
Tesco was ordered to cover legal fees and donate 1000 euro to charity.
