A teenager has been remanded to Oberstown Children Detention Centre following the alleged assault of a Gardaí in Longford.
The male youth appeared before a special sitting of Longford District Court last night.
The alleged incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning at Longford Garda Station.

A male Garda in his thirties received injuries following the incident and was later take to Mullingar Regional Hospital for treatment.
It's understood he sustained injuries to his face.
