A local teenager is undergoing treatment in hospital after a road traffic incident in Co Roscommon over the weekend.
It happened in Cloonfad, Rooskey, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A garda spokesman said: "A male (aged in his late teens) was conveyed to Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore, and subsequently Beaumont Hospital, Dublin for treatment of serious injuries."

No one else was injured and the road has since reopened, after being closed for a while for a technical examination.
A healing Mass will be said for the young man at 7.30 on Monday evening in Rooskey Church.
