The Taoiseach will be among guests at a major youth political conference in County Roscommon next weekend. Ógra Fianna Fáil will host its national conference at the Hodson Bay Hotel near Athlone on Friday and Saturday. Taoiseach Micheál Martin will be the special guest at the event which will be opened by Minister Jack Chambers.
Young Fianna Fáil members from across the country will be taking part while former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern will also be in attendance. The event will mark 50 years since the organisation was first set up. Roscommon Ógra Fianna Fáil Chairperson Malachy Hand says it's an important weekend for the party:
