The Taoiseach says a Ballinasloe primary school should have already had a new school built. Scoil an Chroi Naofa have been calling for a new school for over 20 years. Despite long delays, the school was included in a large scale announcement by Education Minister Hildegarde Naughton last week.
The project is now set to be progressed to tender stage over the next 12 months. Taoiseach Micheal Martin says the school deserves a new campus:
